Camping
Holton Lee is a rare and unusual place. If you join us camping for the week, or just the weekend (come... it’ll be great fun!) you’ll pitch in a beautiful meadow surrounded by 350 acres of land that include heathland, salt marsh, reed bed and woodland. The majority of the site is recognised and protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
There are lovely walks, a bird hide looking over the salt marsh, fields to play in and deer can easily be seen, especially early in the morning and during the evening.
Fees
Hang on... isn’t that supposed to be AD 2010? No – this is EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT – the world’s in a mess and needs healing by God’s love and power!
ED 2010 has loads of activities for kids from reception to year 6 during the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, filled with praise, games, small group work, craft, sport, Bible teaching, quizzes and lots of amazing fun.
Hilarious and fast-moving sessions will help kids learn how God intends us to ‘get on well’ with each other, help each other, serve each other and most importantly love each other.
For those of any level of painting skill (or none) an opportunity to try to hear God and then express it visually. Materials will be provided and you will be asked to make a contribution for the cost, according to what you use. There will a limit on numbers who can come to this workshop so it would be good to book early if you can.
I am suggesting that you attend for two sessions if possible, ie on Wed and Thurs, because it is better not to rush at these things. I can assure you that this is a deeply helpful way to explore hearing God’s voice

During Saturday afternoon you can enjoy pottery-painting with Jan Dowding, starting at 2.30pm in the Connections Cafe. It's a relaxing and fun activity... no previous skill needed!
The session will cost £7.50, which includes the ceramic pottery and paints. There will be a variety of pre-fired pottery items for you to choose from. Your finished product will not need firing as it will be painted in acrylic paint and finished with a gloss varnish.
Jan, a former paintress at the world-famous Poole Pottery, is now an artist (oil paintings) and recently went back to her roots to start painting pottery again.
